Reduced-Fee Policy

There is nothing more important to me than living in full alignment with my life’s purpose by making a positive impact in the world and in the lives of people who are deeply invested in living a full, integrated, and balanced life in a hybrid world.

If you believe I can help you or your team and are not able to pay the full fee, I offer a few reduced-fee speaking engagements each year to carefully chosen non-profits or educational institutions.

Reduced-fee presentations are 60 minutes or less and are standard programs not customized to your specific group.

Before you ask me to waive all or part of my fee, please consider that I am a professional speaker, trainer, coach, and consultant who works exclusively with changemakers and changemaking organizations (people and organizations making a positive difference for people, animals, and/or our planet).

Your investment helps sustain the work I do by allowing me to serve more changemakers and cover the cost of producing the many free webinars, articles, podcasts, and other resources I share with the community on a regular basis. This means:

  • I get paid to speak, facilitate, train, coach, and provide consulting services to individuals and teams.

  • Speaking, training, coaching, and consulting IS my business. It's not something I do occasionally to build my business or as a side hustle.

  • Since my business is a social impact "for-profit" organization, I only do a certain number of reduced-fee engagements each year, or else I'd be a really lousy business person! :-)

  • I work hard to deliver a high-quality experience for you whether it’s a full fee or reduced fee engagement. As a result, the engagement is handled just as a paid full-fee engagement would be handled.

For these reasons, it's important that when I waive or reduce my fee, I'm able to receive value in return for the value my training will bring to your team. I request that the organization consider a value-for-value trade, especially in the area of publicity.

I will request some or all of the following items in trade in place of my full or partial fee:

  • Secure a sponsor or vendor to cover the fee

  • Warm referrals or introductions to organizations or individuals in your network ready, willing, and able to benefit from and invest in Mindful Techie’s services

  • An honorarium

  • Purchasing copies of the Intention Planner for your team (bulk discounts available)

  • A testimonial for my website within two weeks of the engagement

  • A copy of any video or audio recording

  • Complimentary registration for your event

  • An exhibitor booth for in-person events, if one is available

  • Permission to make an offer to the group or bring my products to sell

  • An interview, promo, or article in your newsletter or blog (before and/or after the engagement)

  • Membership to your organization, if appropriate

  • Follow-up with the audience members 30-60 days after the program to see if the information was transferred to their professional or personal life

  • Promotion/marketing of my program to your national or regional chapters within two weeks after the event, if applicable

  • Mailing list of all attendees within one week after the event, so I can contact them (one time only) with my free gift and newsletter information

Terms and Conditions

  • The SPEAKER may take photographs and audio/video recordings during the training for promotional purposes.

  • The CLIENT may not capture audio or video of the presentation without written consent.

  • Resale and repurposing of the SPEAKER’S content are prohibited without prior written authorization.
