5 Questions to Start 2018 off Right

We’re just a few days away from the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018!

With that in mind, I wanted to share the five powerful questions I use to start each workday. I hope you’ll be able to use these to set the right tone for your first day of the New Year and beyond.

  1. What am I grateful for?

  2. What is my life’s purpose?

  3. What is my singular intention today?

  4. What one task or project do I want to complete before I officially start my workday?

  5. What are my key activities for today?

Reflecting on and answering these questions are an important part of my morning routine. Having a good routine is a good tool to help you build and sustain momentum and discipline, especially when things inevitably get tough or you feel yourself getting distracted by email or what’s happening in the news on a given day.

The truth is that there will always be roadblocks as you get on track and try to stay there–the ones you create and the ones others will put in your way.

There will be failures–they’re a natural part of the human experience. They’re how we evolve and grow, if we choose to the learn the right lessons

And, yes, there will be days when you just don’t feel like it.

But having a powerful routine to start your day will help you get started and push through those tough moments.

So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed by how to take advantage of the fresh start the New Year affords us, start by answering these five simple questions as you start January 1, 2018.
